Pastor's CD

In 2008 my wife and I went to Nashville and I recorded twelve of the songs that the Lord has given me. There is a story behind some of the songs and how they came about which I would like you to know:

Sleeping in the Arms of God: my wife’s cousin had a beautiful baby girl which died of S.I.D.S. at the age of four months. My wife asks me to write a song for the child and her family and that was a tall order for me…but not for God. This song was done through prayer, tears and God’s blessing.

How Sweet the Sound: A dear friend of my wife and I, who we called Mr. Tom, when talking about the subject of dying was a time in his life he looked forward to. Becoming a Christian late in his life gave him a humbleness and a thankful heart to God for His Amazing Grace. Mr. Tom wrote a poem which I converted into this song.

This House is Yours: The mother of one of our God Children at an early age slipped into a coma and never recovered. My wife and I, when at the hospital praying for her, knew that she couldn’t pray with us, but we held hands with her and prayed. She didn’t open her eyes or say a word, but when we saw a tear run down her cheek we knew she touched the hem of the Master’s garment!

One More Time Lord: When at a service in Tennessee a dear brother’s son was singing and testifying. He had been backslidden on God and was coming home to Him. He made this statement while he was speaking…one more time Lord, and when he said that my heart knew that was a song for the Lord’s people.

Unconditional Love: My wife and I got married in 1990, but before that Evy was backslidden on God. I loved her in her condition and so did God. I gave her gospel tapes to listen to and one of the tapes was mind with the song Unconditional Love on it. After we got married she told me she would lay on her bed and cry for God’s unconditional love to touch her…and it did!

We put five songs on this website hoping they would bless you and encourage you in the Lord. So please contact us and let us know what they meant to you.
